i2medi & Picis weiten Ihre Partnerschaft nach Kolumbien aus
October 17, 2024, i²medi and Picis announced their exciting collaboration expansion into Colombia. This move follows their successful market penetration in Mexico. The two companies have sealed a new distribution agreement for the Colombian territory, making Picis’ complete suite of clinical applications available in the region.
This collaboration encompasses Picis' full array of perioperative solutions, such as Anesthesia Manager, PACU Manager, Critical Care Manager, and OR Manager, along with the patient information management tool SmarTrack Next and advanced clinical database analytics tools like Envision and Sepsis Screening.
These applications can automatically gather data from vital signs monitors and anesthesia machines. Clinicians can now benefit from a unified, integrated platform, empowering them to view all patient parameters in context. This consequently enables more informed decision-making and an enhanced level of patient care.
Juan Giraldo, General Manager of i²medi Colombia, has commented on the significance of these solutions. “The seamless documentation of anesthesia files is a key value-add for clinical users in Colombian hospitals. These solutions have great potential to enhance efficiency and clinical quality. i²medi is already established in various Colombian hospitals and has integrated surgical room applications. The addition of the Picis Software portfolio complements the data integration both horizontally (expanding to intensive care units) and vertically (expanding from Video & Data management to anesthesia machines).”
Chris Lamont, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Picis, has expressed enthusiasm about broadening the partnership with i²medi into Colombia. “This joint commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality healthcare solutions to the region will introduce new opportunities for Colombian healthcare. Picis’ clinical applications are designed to streamline workflows and provide real-time data to clinicians, thereby empowering them to make informed decisions for the benefit of hospitals and their patients.”
