Coordinated studies First Latin American clinical trial of R.E.M.S. technology
Paradigm-shifting technologies require not only trials, but national proof to convince local clinicians to support the technology.
The Brazilian i²medi team successfully recruited the University of Sao Paulo clinical team to conduct a study comparing radiation-free bone densitometry using the new R.E.M.S. technology with the current X-ray-based gold standard technology.
Our i²medi team was actively involved in project management for the study, coordinating clinicians and the manufacturer's clinical department to create a powerful study design.
In just 7 months, the researchers enrolled 343 patients in the study!
The i²medi application specialists performed all measurements and actively supported the clinicians in data collection.
This study is an important prerequisite for the successful commercialization of the R.E.M.S. technology throughout the Latin American region.
At the same time, this study represents a milestone that is accepted and recognized by medical societies for further recommendations.
